Lighthouse1 Introduces Lighthouse1 Mobile |

June 17, 2010 – Minneapolis, MN -Lighthouse1, an industry leader in consumer-driven healthcare (CDH) administration software solutions, introduced Lighthouse1 Mobile this week at Partner Conference 2010, the company’s annual conference for its ever-growing partner base.
Mobile devices represent the next stage in consumer self-service, and Lighthouse1 Mobile enables consumers to access and upload information about their healthcare account, 24/7 from anywhere, via their smartphone. Lighthouse1 Mobile will be available for the iPhone and Android, the two mobile operating systems that have most embraced web and applications use. Lighthouse1 Mobile is scheduled for release this fall.

At Partner Conference 2010, Lighthouse1 also provided attendees with its annual Lighthouse1 Benchmark Report, which gives the industry’s only benchmark analysis for financial, customer, operational, and team engagement and innovation, comparing each organization to the wide cross-section of third-party administrators, banks and health plans partnered with Lighthouse1. The report shares that the top 25 percent of Lighthouse1’s partners average an annual growth rate of 98.7 percent. Additionally, health reimbursement accounts (HRAs) and health savings accounts (HSAs) for Lighthouse1 and its partners grew substantially, both growing by more than 300 percent.

Lighthouse1 also announced several sales and marketing initiatives, including the launch of Value Added Services for its partners. The services and products in this offering will help raise employer and consumer loyalty while increasing revenue opportunities for partners. The initial Value Added Services will focus on education, enrollment and participation as well as health management and wellness tools.
The Lighthouse1 product management team shared a number of exciting enhancements to the Lighthouse1 platform across the areas of payment solutions, consumer self-service and administrator operations. The new features include Claims Exchange with Pay the Provider, Online Bill Pay, Contributions from Personal Account, and Copy Plan Year.
Through Claims Exchange with Pay the Provider, claims received from a health plan are automatically validated, and the consumer isn’t prompted to submit receipts. Online Bill Pay provides the option for consumers to enter ad hoc provider information via the Consumer Portal to pay their healthcare bills online using their HSA funds. With Contributions from Personal Account, consumers can transfer post-tax funds from a personal bank account directly into their HSA via the Consumer Portal on an ad-hoc basis. This helps maximize consumer contributions to their HSA and supports HSA products that are offered directly to the individual market. Copy Plan Year enables administrators to help quickly renew an employer group by allowing them to copy a previous plan year with a simple click of their mouse.
